V8D-K Key Set - EliteDrive

Module Overview

The V8D-K key module is the most simplified model in the entire ecosystem. It consists of only a V8D control box and a key module. It supports EliteDrive driver and can automatically synchronize hardware status.

It has 4 mounting screws on the bottom, making it easy to install on aluminum profiles. The key module can be installed upright or inverted, with diagonal mounting using two screws to achieve 45-degree angle installation.

Users can later upgrade to other advanced models by paying the price difference!

Connection Method

1. Connect the key module to V8D-K control box via RJ11 cable
2. Connect the control box to the computer using Micro USB data cable
3. Install EliteDrive driver program
4. The driver will automatically detect the V8D-K control box
5. The driver can automatically switch game modes to adapt to different games.
6. Each time you use the key module, you need to start the driver program (the driver can be minimized)

Key Binding

Please use keyboard to bind shortcuts as shown in the image (do not use the key module hardware for binding).

Game Settings

Please do not check this option in the game settings

Usage Instructions

The key module has three positions:

• OFF - Vehicle power off
• ON - Vehicle powered, dashboard activated
• START - Start engine, auto-return when released

In EliteDrive driver menu, make sure to check "Use Key Module" option.

Troubleshooting

Q Key module not working in game

A Check if Q and E keys are properly bound, and if the driver menu has "Use Key Module" option enabled

Q Cannot bind shortcuts

A The key module is controlled via keyboard shortcuts. Please press Q or E on keyboard to bind, not with hardware

Q Vehicle engine cannot be turned off

A Please check the game settings to ensure "Auto-start engine and power" is not checked
