UDP Telemetry Introduction

• DiRT Rally 2.0 telemetry UDP port defaults to 20777, using one-to-one transmission
• This method may cause devices to compete for data (devices without data cannot work)
• For example, Simhub dashboard, steering wheel display, G-force motion seats all require telemetry data
• Note: Many manufacturers' simulators receive game telemetry exclusively without forwarding, preventing other devices from working
• Some vendors like Simhub provide forwarding; our driver also provides forwarding capability.

DiRT Rally 2.0 UDP Settings

• No in-game UDP settings window
• UDP telemetry is configured via file (D:\My Documents\My Games\DiRT Rally 2.0\hardware_settings_config.xml)
• Many simulation devices may modify this file's UDP port, so verify PORT="20777"

UDP Normal Status

Proper listening port setup is required to receive game telemetry data for our devices to work correctly

UDP Error Status

If in error state, check UDP settings and D:\My Documents\My Games\DiRT Rally 2.0\hardware_settings_config.xml

Wiper Function

• Our wiper device sends P key to control game wipers, so the game wiper must use P hotkey
• Game wiper logic: Short press P (cycle through low speed, high speed, off), Long press P (turn off wiper)

Manual-Auto Module Function

• Supports sequential operation (Pull - Upshift, Push - Downshift)
• Enter R gear: Hold UNlock button while pushing the handle to enter R gear
• N gear indicator: Lights up when vehicle gear = N
• D gear indicator: Lights up when vehicle gear > 1
• R gear indicator: Lights up when vehicle gear = R
